The Tomb in Pigeon Forge is an adventure/escape game

Our motel in Pigeon Forge places you in the center of so much to do with the family! Children of all sizes and tastes can find plenty to excite them throughout the city. Match your child to their interests, and start with these Pigeon Forge attractions:

Toddlers/Young Children: The Track Family Fun Center has a nice section of midway type kiddie rides: planes, train, carousel, and more in addition to small child gokarts. Try the oversized kiddie pool with slide at Pigeon Forge Community Center. Get their hands in the dirt at the Pigeon Forge Gem Mine. Discover and feed the ducks on the river at Patriot Park (feed machine onsite). Wear Farm City Park playground is all access. Get their wiggles out on the climbing and pint-size sections at TopJump Activity Park. Let them laugh out loud to clean, slapstick jokes at the Comedy Barn Theater.

Gamers: Prove your video prowess at Arcade City and then conquer the 7D Dark Ride Adventure at the Island of Pigeon Forge complex. Lazer Port Fun Center has an extensive laser tag game area. The Tomb is a different type immersive experience to puzzle your way through. Magiquest adds a medieval dragon element to its interactive game area. There are multiple arcade and game centers located in the city from which to choose.

Adventurers: There are so many opportunities for thrillseekers in Pigeon Forge! Try Smoky Mountain Ziplines for an outdoor adrenaline rush with the only rappelling feature in the area. Maybe the Skytrail Explorer section of the Island Ropes Course will get you climbing. Xtreme Racing Center has the fastest gokarts in Pigeon Forge. Take a different zoom down a hillside at Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. Wrench your gut on the human Sling Shot at Funstop, and then roll down a hill inside a wet or dry ZORB ball at Outdoor Gravity Park. Enough insanity for you yet?

Learners: Some kids really enjoy absorbing knowledge about new things while having a good time. Wonderworks is an amazing place for fun experiments and activities of all description. Titanic Museum next door is full of interesting history. Parrot Mountain is an up close experience (you can feed and hold them) with many colorful birds from around the world. Hollywood Wax Museum is unique way to rub elbows with celebrities (just look for King Kong hanging around). The Escape Game at the Island puts those discovery skills in high gear to beat the clock. Alcatraz East Museum teaches how plenty of convicts went awry. Pigeon Forge Library (next to the Community Center) is a quiet place to unwind and sink into a good read. Pigeon River Pottery at the Old Mill is a good location to study the artisan skills of the potters as they work their craft. Try one of the magic shows in town, like Magic Beyond Belief, to ponder how the impossible can occur.

Active Athletes: For those who cannot sit still and need to move, try all the events at TopJump: the Ninja course, dodgeball, trampoline, and climbing areas. Both Patriot Park and Wear Farm have wide open spaces and fields to toss a ball without concern. Pigeon Forge Community Center sells day passes for all its activities: basketball courts, bowling, jogging tracks, and a nice Aquatic Center with both indoor and outdoor pools. What about horseback riding at Five Oaks Stables, or a trampoline bungy jump at the Island Thunderdome?

Everyone: The entire family can enjoy playing miniature golf at one of the many courses in the city, maybe Professor Hackers? The Wheel at the Island can give you a new perspective on things. The Track has the elevated Wild Woody gokart track and bumper boats in addition to putt-putt. Wonderworks has activities that everyone can enjoy together, and lots of photo shots. Both Splash Country and Dollywood do a great job of offering something for everyone, so I didn't elaborate on their many opportunities! As you can see, there is much to explore a stone's throw away from your temporary home base at a Pigeon Forge motel.

Should you want to venture outside of the city, head to hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the many additional attractions of Gatlinburg, or the great outlet shopping of Sevierville. Tennessee Mountain Lodge is located literally in the center of all the action available throughout our county. Come stay with us soon!

About Leif Palmer

Leif Palmer loves residing in Pigeon Forge. He is an avid outdoorsman: rowing for exercise on the lake, trail hiking, and free climbing rocks in the mountains. He indulges his arty side by periodically beating up pieces of marble by sculpting. He is always frustrated by his inability to sink long putts, and hates his curly hair (but his wife loves it). Leif has been known to muster enough courage to change a diaper, and hopes his son will become a chip off the old block.
